2025

The Boston Bulldogs Running Club celebrates its 10 year anniversary!

2024

The Boston Bulldogs Running Club adds 107 members while organizing 258 weekly runs, 21 Junior Bulldogs events, 10 Community Nights, breakfasts and outings; and 30 Full Circle events. The Club also organizes 109 community outreach events at area recovery centers, sober living houses, shelters and hospitals while participating in dozens of road races and being featured in 14 different articles and podcasts. The message of exercise and recovery reaches over 10,000 people.

Dr. Jim Keane is appointed Executive Director.
Meaghan Langlois becomes full-time Director of Programs and Outreach.

2022

The Club becomes an official Charity Partner of the Boston Athletic Association Boston Marathon.

2019

The Club’s Quincy, MA Chapter is formed. First group run takes place on June 10, 2019.

2016

The Board of Directors begins to meet regularly and the Club holds its first Run for Recovery 5K and Tribute at Franklin Park. In November, the first weekly runs are held in Plymouth, MA.

2015

Coach Mike Ferullo and Shelley Isaacson establish The Boston Bulldogs Running Club as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting those battling all forms of addiction, as well as their friends, family members and supporters. The Club’s first official run takes place on October 24th at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.

2012

The Club is adopted by Pine Street Inn under the name “Pine Street’s Bulldogs Running Club.” Coach Mike Ferullo serves as leading mentor and volunteer coach. Membership begins to rise.

2008

Recognizing running, wellness and community as vital tools for people adversely affected by addiction, Coach Mike Ferullo starts the HopeFound Bulldogs at the Shattuck Hospital shelter in Jamaica Plain, MA.
