Weekly Announcements 6/9/2025

  1. On Wednesday, June 4th there will be a Full Circle strength workout in Quincy from 6:30-7:30pm. All are welcome to join this OUTDOOR workout!

  2. Sunday’s trail run on June 7th at 9:00am (note the time change) will be an “urban trail run.” Mike is moving to the “burbs” but is generously hosting a post-run breakfast at his soon-to-be former abode. Meet at 62 Commonwealth Avenue for a 4-5 mile scenic route through Boston replete with water views and history. All are welcome!

  3. On Sunday, June 7th there will be a Namastay Sober June Challenge Collaboration Kick-off.

  4. Weather-permitting, the Plymouth chapter will host a “Community Night” cookout at Nelson Park immediately after the weekly run on Tuesday, June 17th. (Burgers and dogs!)

  5. If you want to run the iconic Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 17th while also raising $1,000 or more for the Boston Bulldogs, email meaghan@bostonbulldogsrunning.org for an application.

  6. If you need Narcan or fentanyl drug test strips, please see one of the Leaders. (Leaders if you need additional supplies send Jim a text or email).

  7. Our friends at Road to the Right Track are holding their Annual Kayak and BBQ Night on Thursday, Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 5:30pm. The Boston Bulldogs are invited to participate and help with kayak supervision. The more adults the better! Location: Paddle Boston – Allston/Brighton location – 1071 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, MA. Let Jim or Meaghan know if you are interested in attending.

  8. Patrick Caron is organizing summer running retreats in the Adirondacks. See: Move Free Running Retreats – Move Free for more info. If you wish to participate but are reluctant to do so because of financial need, email meaghan@bostonbulldogsrunning.org – the Club may be able to defray costs.
